AI audit — one hour, free

Which of your company's tasks can AI actually automate?

One hour with a developer who has thirty years of production code behind him — not with a salesperson. By the end you will know what to automate, what it takes technically and where to start.

  • One hour, remote or on site
  • Free, no purchase required
  • Written report within 5 working days
The starting point

Three situations we meet every week

If one of them sounds familiar, there is something to automate — and the audit exists to work out which one to tackle first.

Your teams retype the same data

A quote approved in the CRM becomes an order in the ERP, then an invoice in a third tool. At every step somebody copies it across. At every step an error can slip through — and reach the customer.

Documents are handled by hand

Purchase orders as PDFs, customer emails, supplier invoices: somebody opens them, reads them, pulls out the information and keys it in elsewhere. Hours every day, on work nobody wants to own.

An "AI project" with no starting point

Management knows it has to happen. What is missing is which process to take on first, what it means for the information system, and what budget to put behind it without backing the wrong one.

The content

What the audit covers

  • A map of 3 to 5 automatable processes

We start from the tools you already run and the way you actually work, not from a catalogue of solutions.

  • Estimated gains, process by process

Time spent, error rate, turnaround. Orders of magnitude you can check against your own figures.

  • Technical feasibility against your systems

What your ERP, CRM and databases genuinely allow: available interfaces, data quality and accessibility, and the constraints your current vendors impose.

  • Caveats worth knowing

GDPR, confidentiality of data sent to a model, vendor lock-in and the cost of switching later.

  • A prioritised recommendation

Where to start, why that one rather than another, and an indicative budget and duration for the first piece of work.

The deliverable

What you get

  • A written report of 2 to 3 pages, within 5 working days. The processes we selected, the estimated gains, the technical constraints and the order in which to address them.
  • No purchase required. The report is yours, including if you then hand it to another supplier or to your own team.
  • A fixed-price quote if we carry on together. Against an agreed specification, with a settled scope and price — not an open-ended time and materials arrangement.
Why us

AI wired into what you already run, not bolted on beside it

Most AI projects fail at integration, not at the demo. That is precisely the work we have been doing for thirty years.

Thirty years of production code

Line-of-business applications, CRMs, maintenance contracts, ERP integration. We know what an information system tolerates, and where an automation breaks once it meets real volumes.

Marseille, on site across the region

A French company based in Marseille. We travel to your offices across Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, which often beats a video call for watching a process as it really runs.

One contact, properly insured

The person who runs the audit is the person who will write the code. Fewl carries professional indemnity insurance.

Example

Recruitment agency — automated screening and follow-ups

An AI agent wired into the agency's CRM and applicant tracking system scores every incoming profile — match score, summary, tailored opening line — and drafts follow-ups for candidates who went quiet. Messages go into a queue: nothing is sent without human approval, every action is logged and reversible, and the agent's permissions are capped server-side so it cannot step outside the scope it was given.

How it works

Three steps

01

You fill in the form

A handful of fields, five minutes. We come back to you within one working day to agree a slot.

02

One hour together

By video call, or at your offices if you are in south-east France. You show us your tools and your processes, we ask questions.

03

The written report

Within 5 working days, by email. What you do with it is entirely up to you, including nothing.

Frequently asked

What people ask before booking

Is it really free?

Yes, with nothing expected in return: one hour of discussion and a written report, with no purchase required. It is how we qualify projects — we would rather spend an hour understanding your situation than send a proposal blind. If AI is not the right answer to your problem, the report will say so.

Do we need technical skills in-house?

No. The person who knows the process best matters more than the person who knows IT best: what we need is to understand how the work actually gets done. If you have an IT manager or a regular supplier, having them in the room helps without being essential — we will come back to them on integration questions.

Is our data sent to OpenAI or Anthropic?

During the audit, no: we discuss your processes and handle none of your data. For a project it depends on the architecture chosen, and that is one of the things the audit settles. Depending on the case: a provider with a contractual commitment not to train on your data, European hosting, or an open model running on a machine you control. Each option carries a different cost and quality level; we set out the trade-off rather than choosing for you.

What size of company is this for?

The audit makes sense from about ten employees upwards, once there is a repetitive process and tools already in place — ERP, CRM, accounting, sales management. We mostly work with companies of 10 to 500 people. Below that, the right answer is often simpler and cheaper than AI, and we will tell you so rather than sell you something else.

What happens after the audit?

Nothing, if that is your decision: the report is yours and you owe us nothing. If you want to move forward, we quote the first piece of work at a fixed price against an agreed specification. Most of our clients start with a deliberately narrow scope, measure the result over a few weeks, then extend.
